Khalid leads the firm's overall strategy and investment agenda.

Qaisar M. Zaman is Chief Investment Officer of Rakiza, where he leads the investment team, originates new opportunities, oversees portfolio management, and drives successful exits. With more than 30 years of experience, Qaisar brings extensive expertise in private equity, infrastructure investing, investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance across Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Asia. He has previously held senior leadership positions at nogaholding, Arcapita, and JP Morgan Chase. He holds a Master’s in International Management and Finance from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and an MBA from Arizona State University.

Yasser Alvi is Chief Financial Officer of Rakiza, where he oversees financial strategy, governance, fund operations, capital allocation, and investment decision-making. With more than 25 years of experience, Yasser brings extensive expertise in infrastructure investment, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, financial management, and large-scale development projects. Prior to Rakiza, he led investments exceeding USD 2 billion and managed projects valued at more than USD 11 billion. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds master’s degrees from Oxford and Harvard.

Eyad Al Salmi is Investment Director at Rakiza, where he leads the origination, execution, and asset management of infrastructure private equity investments. With more than a decade of experience, Eyad brings extensive expertise in mergers and acquisitions, transaction structuring, financial modelling, debt financing, investment due diligence, and portfolio governance. He has led transactions with an aggregate enterprise value exceeding USD 5 billion. Prior to Rakiza, Eyad worked with the Oman Investment Authority on direct global private equity investments. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Sultan Qaboos University and is a CFA charterholder.

Hamad Al Harthy is an Investment Associate at Rakiza, where he leads asset management across the portfolio and supports investment execution, portfolio optimisation, and value-creation initiatives. With more than seven years of experience, Hamad specialises in infrastructure investment, asset management, transaction execution, refinancing, due diligence, financial modelling, and capital structuring across the telecommunications, logistics, ports, and utilities sectors in GCC markets. Hamad holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Lancaster University and serves as a Board Director of Silal, Oman’s Central Fruit and Vegetable Market.

Kadhim Al Lawati is an Investment Analyst at Rakiza, where he supports investment evaluation, financial modelling, valuation analysis, and due diligence. Kadhim’s expertise spans financial analysis, valuation modelling, investment research, and transaction support, working closely with the investment team to assess opportunities and inform investment decisions. He graduated with First-Class Honours in Accounting and Finance from the University of Leeds, where he received the Dean’s Prize and multiple academic excellence awards.

Manal Al-Adawi is Director of Legal & Operations at Rakiza, where she leads the firm’s legal, compliance, operations, HR, and IT functions. With more than 10 years of experience, Manal brings expertise in fund operations, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, legal advisory, and transaction support, Prior to Rakiza, she served as in-house counsel in the telecommunications and banking sectors. She holds an LLM from Fordham University and an MSc from King’s College London, and is admitted to the New York Bar.

Hamzah S. Abboud is Director of Business Development at Rakiza, where he supports investment strategy, stakeholder engagement, and infrastructure investment initiatives. With more than 16 years of experience, including over 13 years in Saudi Arabia, Hamzah brings expertise in investment advisory, infrastructure investment, privatisation initiatives, and cross-border partnerships. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the American University of Beirut and a Certificate in Investments from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).

Ammar Al Lawati is Finance Manager at Rakiza, where he oversees the firm’s financial operations, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, and financial reporting. With more than 18 years of experience, Ammar brings extensive expertise in financial accounting, cash management, internal audit, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls across the oil and gas, public and private investment, and greenfield development sectors. Ammar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Sultan Qaboos University, and is a Fellow of the ACCA and a member of the CISI.
